specsix
New to the forum and hate starting my first thread on bad news. I have had Klipsch my entire life and NEVER had anything fail on me until now. I have an 18 month old R-115SW that powers down consistently at 10 seconds - on the dime. Re-plugging in the power resets it. Its like its going to sleep even though it will play just fine and has an audio signal. What confuses me is that it seems it's deliberate and gets me thinking its not the subwoofer at fault. of course I could just call Klipsch and see if warranty covers it, but this thing is huge and not easy to ship. My old Velodyne plays just fine with the same signal. Any ideas what could be causing a fairly new woofer to be doing this? Thanks! Paducah Home Theater
Bad amp. Happens often. Go to their site and enter a ticket. Most likely you can talk them into just shipping you a new amp. Have your receipt ready. 😎
