adapter for wired ProMedia 2.1 preamp controller to bluetooth subwoofer.

Can anyone help me?  I have an old wired ProMedia 2.1 system, the amp recently fried itself.  I was given an almost new bluetooth subwoofer/amplifier unit.  How can I adapt the round connector on my preamp controller to the preamp input on the bluetooth sub.  Any help would be much appreciated.  Thanks in advance.

I just looked at Klipsch's website and found the sub.  Best I can tell is that you'd need to do some soldering from one serial type to another, there's no straight up adapter for that.  You'll need to do some splicing, soldering, and crimping to achieve the desired affect.  The speakers should wire in fine.

The speakers themselves are no problem they just wire to the terminals. I looked at the schematics on line and pulled the back off the bluetooth amp It may be possible to do it but its beyond my capabilities.  The number of wires is different 6 on the round plug on the controller, 5 on the subwoofer connector and the colors are different. if the wires color and number of wires had been the same it would have been fairly easy to cut the plug off the controller cable and wire up the needed connector.

I had a chance to take a better look at both the wired and bluetooth amps.  The preamp

inputs both the round 6 pin on the wired sub, and the 9 pin on the blue tooth are board mounted on an input board.  The wires I was looking at are for a jumper harness from the input board to the amp.  The wires are the same and connectors are the same for both boards.  So all I have to do is swap out the boards and drill a hole in the back plate for the round connector.  It may not be the most beautiful looking cover  but it will work and thats all I care.
