CoKlip
I have front in wall speakers (https://www.klipsch.com/products/scw-2-in-wall-speaker) at 86" off the ground, measured to the center of the speaker. I think this is too high up and the sound seems to "pass over" me when seated and watching TV. My couch is about 14 feet from the front wall. Is the placement of these speakers too high up on the wall? I cannot see any way to angle the speakers down. Does anyone have any suggestions other then moving the speakers? Thanks. willland
@CoKlip, Welcome to the forum. Yes I would say 86" is definitely too high. Your ears most likely are at about 42" to 44" from floor when seated. Short of jacking your seat up with a 36" riser you definitely should lower the speakers. If you really want a true HT experience, then L-C-R should be as close to ear level as possible. If this system is more for TV, sports, etc. and an occasional movie, then you may be okay. If you have a photo from your seating position that would be great. Bill
