MrPercussion
Hello: I'm asking here to see if anyone has 2 or 4 of these speakers in mint/excellent condition for sale. If yes, let me know and how much you're asking. Thanks!
Moderators Youthman Posted July 14, 2018 Moderators Share Posted July 14, 2018 Fantastic surrounds. Best of luck with your search
MrPercussion
Thanks Youthman. I like your videos: have you tried the SVS Ultra Surrounds? I see in your setup above you don't list the SVS Ultra Towers: are you no longer using them? MrPercussion 😀

I have the v1 and I think @Youthman told me the I & II's sound about the same, the main difference being the grill is triangular in the v1 and rounded on the II's. I think the driver configuration is the same on both. What is your percussion background? I am a former HS drummer and marched cymbals in the WVU marching band back in the late 70's. I am currently a huge fan of DCI drumlines and drum corps in general.
Moderators Youthman Posted July 14, 2018 Moderators Share Posted July 14, 2018 No, I haven't heard the Ultra Surrounds or the Prime Elevation speakers. SVS sent me the Ultra Towers and Center to review. The review period has ended and I have since shipped them back.

That is correct. I have owned both the RS62 and currently own the RS62 II. I didn't hear any difference between the two. Merely cosmetic. MrPercussion
@wvu80 I've played drums for several bands based in the Northwest; I'm in Arizona now and I primarily play my Roland V-Drums now for fun.
MrPercussion
@Youthman Thanks for the RS-62 feedback. I'll keep an open mind if I find some.

MrPercussion
@opusk2k9 Thanks for the CL link. Do you know if the seller is a forum member or was this a random find? PS: I have the Mahogany KLF-30s and C-7. They're awesome!
opusk2k9
I don't know if the person is a forum member. It has been posted for a while and come down in price. I love the KLF-30 and the mahogany finish.
