Those are real nice Michael.

 

Regarding the networks ...

 

The tweeter sections appear to be identical with the exception of the small resistor, which now just has a jumper in its place.

 

The original AL-4 schematic shows two 5 ohm/10 watt resistors in parallel, for a total of 2.5 ohms in series with the tweeter. The large resistor on both networks is in parallel with the polyswitch, and is part of the tweeter protection circuit.

 

On your Walnut pair, they removed one of the small resistors (compared to the schematic), which would be 5 ohms in series with the tweeter (more attenuation).

 

On your 70th Anniversary pair, they removed both, and it looks like the tweeter is being run with no attenuation.

 

Other than that, the networks look identical -- at least, the capacitors are all the same.
