Brian123
Hi.. I am currently using a Denon 3400W AVR for the RF-82ii. I would like to use an amp (moving to a different room). Any suggestions on an amp that is good for these speakers and comparable to the Denon 3400W. Thanks
The History Kid
Are you looking for just an amp to run zone 2 off the Denon or a stereo receiver?
MEH Synergy
Stereo? HT? Room size? Listening preferences? Laid back or analytical?
Brian123
Hi.. a stereo receiver or even an AVR. Separate system not zone 2. Thanks.
MEH Synergy
No offense, but based on the cost of your speakers (and I use one myswlf in the garage). It has my stamp of approval for flexibility, price and SQ. I was surprised by it. https://www.amazon.com/Yamaha-R-S202BL-Stereo-Receiver/dp/B01EMQI2CU

Hi- Stereo only but if it makes sense to buy another AvR and use for stereo I can do that. Room is 20x20. High Ceilings - wood floor. MEH Synergy
Don't buy anything but stereo if you won't use it for any other purpose. You will get much better SQ for a lesser price. Seriously, check out the unit I linked. Try it for yourself risk free. I'm impressed. Not easy to do. I have owned and heard a lot. I have NO IDEA how they make money at that price for what it does and how it sounds.

Will that work for steaming music as well ? (tidal)
MEH Synergy
Yes! That's why I bought it. Believe it or not (in guessing SNR IS HIGHER?) it sounds better through Bluetooth than it does through line inputs. I'm gonna swap it into my main system for s... And giggles to see how it sounds there.
The History Kid
Just an FYI, that unit can be had $50 less. I wouldn't pay the $150 for it. Check Accesories4Less.
MEH Synergy
For $50 I would pull the trigger immediately. Even with the 150 I spent I am very satisfied with it. Just did a 6 hour BBQ with it at volume and it was awesome.
MEH Synergy
I don't think so man.... I just checked. Link it... I'll buy another.

MEH Synergy
If $$$ for sound makes sense I'm always first in line. This unit is an outstanding bargain IMO
Brian123
One more question- if I don’t want to use bluetooth ... what device can I use with this to get amazon music, tidal, Spotify, etc.? I don’t want to have to use my phone with Bluetooth.

I don’t want to have to use my phone with Bluetooth. You'd need a digital media player, I'm not sure the options that are available without HDMI are all that cheap. Finding a system with Tidal and Spotify is easy. Amazon, not so much.
MEH Synergy
You can use your phone for anything Bluetooth. Otherwise the unit itself has about 4 or 5 line inputs I believe. Doesn't matter what they are titled. They are all the same. It also comes with a buikt in AM/FM Tuner
