Swerv
does anyone know what drivers klipsch uses for the v2.400's? the type of design i noticed had the dustcap going inwards and not rounded like a hemisphere.... does this affect the sound in anyway... i was also curious about the weight of the magnets.. Paragon
Ya.. the inverse dustcaps was the first thing I notices about the drivers. I would say the dustcap has no affect on sound.. just looks better. As for the magnets.. Big ones.. http://www.gamersdepot.com/hardware/speakers/klipsch/promedia/rev_klipsch_promedia_b.htm say 30-40oz? not sure.. just a guess = probably wrong Looks about the average size for a 6.5" driver comparing it to http://www.gamersdepot.com/hardware/speakers/creative/dtt3500/003.htm mm.. inverted dustcap http://www.gamersdepot.com/product_shots/midiland_s4_8200_woofer.htm

Billie Jean
Inverted dust caps make the speaker cone stronger and less prone to tiny flexes.
