onemoretime
Two 1950s Khorns with different specs being sold together for $3000. Is it me or is that price pretty high?https://baltimore.craigslist.org/ele/d/vintage-klipschorn-speakers/6656096730.html No affiliation, just thought it was a curious ad and wanted to share. Coytee
Probably bought them back when people traditionally bought a mono unit. (the one with the wooden horn) Later, he bought the second unit to make it stereo. That's my guess.
wvu80
I have three samples of pre-1960's Khorns, final sales prices unconfirmed. One confirmed (I think) sale single for $1098 in 2015, condition 5/10. Born on date 1952 One in Miami in 2017 for $550 in 5/10 condition, a single. Born on date 1953 One in Dallas 2018 5/10 condition $800, single. Born on date 1954 +++ Cab on one looks rough, poor grill, damage to cab, woofer surround completely deteriorated and needs to be replaced.
windashine
I was looking for a K-5-J, a Stephens tru sonic, University squawker and tweeter and a museum relic condition.... … And then I found my 1954 on CL and it's a 10/10 mint incredible, there were a few posts and questions about it on this forum, with an equally incredible story... $1500 was perfect to me for my mono one of a kind.... Lord help me if I ever find it's primavera mate

If you still have them, what' are the respective serial numbers?

I track Heritage prices in a spreadsheet. I don't own those, I just have their information recorded. Sorry for the confusion.
kuisis
A lot lighter, and cheaper than having real speakers.
