Klipshorn Speaker Identification

I have owned these speakers for many years but am trying to identify the type, year of manufacture and other details about them.  Pics attached. Thanks in advance for any help.

Those are klipschorns and they were made in 1984. Beautiful speakers.

KB-WO stands for

K = Klipschorn

B = Spacer or riser between the top and bottom sections. the B is the best looking of all

W = Walnut

O = Oil

L/F is the Low Frequency section

I have had them for awhile and really enjoy them. I am the second owner and the first owner ordered them special. He was an IBM exec and knew sound well.

 

That said, I just don't have the space for them anymore in my home and am thinking of selling them. Don't know if I want them on Ebay. Would prefer they end up with someone who really appreciates them.

 

What is the best way to evaluate the value?

You could list them in the Garage Sale section of this website, at the price you want. Then consider any serious offers. Your location and/or availability to box, pallet and ship will affect the size of your market.
