Hardly noticeable scratch on right side transformer. I don't notice anymore scratches. However, I'm not saying there aren't any. I have wiped of dust. That is all. I'm not testing the "extra tubes". I don't know where they are from. I don't know where the installed tubes are from. The unit came with tubes from AudioClassics. I'm assuming the McIntosh Line tubes and the 4 extra KT88's pictured in the foam are from Audioclassics. I ordered a brand new shipping box from McIntosh. $3500 $3200 shipped fedex ground insured. Wasn't till I was videoing the unit when I saw it. Again, it looks like a spot from somebody wearing a watch when moving. I would easily buy this....but I already own 4 of these. I received amp yesterday and tubes today. I'm extremely pleased with cosmetic condition of amp and am listening to it now. I have it paired with a McIntosh C22 preamp (also purchased from Klipsch Forum) and a pair of Altec Valencia speakers. I believe this combination should sound quite nice.
