R 112SW sub setup with Klipsch The Sixes

Hello,

Recently I bought R-112sw subwoofer to my klipsch the sixes system. Connected it to sub out output with LFE in sub. Setup frequency knob on sub to 80hz (as most recommend).

So the question is with volume setup. I have GAIN knob in subwoofer and sub volume in klipsch the sixes (remote control buttons, range from 1 to 50).

I found most recommend to setup first receiver sub volume to 0db (in my case receiver is the sixes system). Is the 25 mark in my sub volume setings equal 0db? And after setting it to 0db, I should setup GAIN knob in my sub to level up with my speakers.

Is that the right way to do this? Maybe someone has this systems and could share their settings?

thx in advance!

Personally,  I'd start with gain on the sub at 50% and use the remote for the sixes to raise or lower the sub volume.  That's probably going to allow you to use the sub volume to set the appropriate levels for what you're listening to.
