I know the "opportunists" on Kauai only enjoyed a very short success. When it came time for them to need anything ...lol There was a guy selling ice for $6/bag. Small island. Everyone knows everybody or is related. Saw something interesting during the Iniki recovery. Everyone helped each other until the electricity came on.
