My original room was 13 x 21, with the LS on the narrow end wall,  I placed mics about 12 feet back. That was my regular listening location.

Were you recording the output of the speakers, or was there some karaoke singing taking place?

Playing CD tracks that I've been listening to for years and am familiar with them.

I was going to say, certain models of the Zoom recorders  would work quite well.

I'll see if I can find one of the tracks I re-recorded and maybe put it a Dropbox so you can have a listen.

The larger size of the replacement 68 uF capacitor for the Heresy II made it necessary to move the crossover PCB from the terminal cup to a separate board.

So the way the foam is placed would also benefit the Heresy 1 ---------all Heresy 1 speakrs never had any foam inserted in the cabs
