FS Akai X360D RTR

I got this from an acquaintance whose husband had passed away. He bought it new when he was in the service. It has not been powered up for years, and I decided I need to let this go. Upfront... this had a lot of smoke buildup and although I have cleaned the tape guides, they could probably use a good polishing and the whole deck gone over by a good rtr technician. This is very very heavy at 55 lbs. I don't want to ship but would meet anyone within a reasonable distance. I have a copy of the manual I have printed out. This will do 4 different tape speeds - 1-7/8, 3-3/4, 7-1/2, 15 ips.

The pics show the i/o panel on the side, and the rear panel, one with the fuse pulled out and plug to show the different voltage settings.

The only thin I actually modified involved the rear cover around the power connections. The friend's husband had engraved his SSN into the left side of the cover. I has been sanded out, primed and painted with a textured paint.

Location is northwest Georgia, just across the line from Chattanooga, TN.

$125.00
