The Dude
Man typing that on my phone went horribly wrong. Supposed to say, not the best deal.Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk
jimjimbo
Just now, The Dude said: not the best deal. That's an understatement.....He prefers the patina? Meaning the scratches and dirt? Alrighty then.
avguytx
For posterity... Full industrial splits. Work good. Price is firm for now. AA crossover, k-55m, K-77M, choice of crites woofers or original k-43s.Cabinets are solid. Could be repainted/ coated but I prefer the patina. Reason for sale is acquisition of klipschhorns... The first set I ever seen, heard, and attempted to purchase was similar here in Lincoln, maybe a little worse shape. They were asking $650.00 I offered the seller $500 and he declined. They were sold a day later, I am guessing for close to his asking price.

The beating of seals has long been frowned upon — as is the beating those LS have endured - 1

Ceptorman
I know they're beat up, crappy looking, but they look the part in that room. They fit right in. I like that look. I wonder if his Khorns have the same "patina"?

The Dude
Apparently raising the price helps them sell faster. Maybe it gives the illusion they are even rarer. https://omaha.craigslist.org/ele/6725565770.html
T2K
Those are worth much more than the asking price. Those apparently belong to those HG celebrities Chit & Yohanna Grains. The shiplap is a dead giveaway.

They fit right in, and look like they have many stories to tell. It's like paying a premium for distressed jeans; "I want the "worn" look and I want it NOW!" And I'm sure they still sound like LaScala's!

I don't think they're doing the show any more.
