Full industrial splits. Work good. Price is firm for now.

AA crossover, k-55m, K-77M, choice of crites woofers or original k-43s.

Cabinets are solid. Could be repainted/ coated but I prefer the patina. Reason for sale is acquisition of klipschhorns...

That's an understatement.....He prefers the patina?  Meaning the scratches and dirt?  Alrighty then.

The first set I ever seen, heard, and attempted to purchase was similar here in Lincoln, maybe a little worse shape.  They were asking $650.00 I offered the seller $500 and he declined.  They were sold a day later, I am guessing for close to his asking price.

I know they're beat up, crappy looking, but they look the part in that room. They fit right in. I like that look.

I wonder if his Khorns have the same "patina"?

I'm with you on this. Those speakers have CHARACTER! They fit right in, and look like they have many stories to tell.

It's like paying a premium for distressed  jeans; "I want the "worn" look and I want it NOW!"

And I'm sure they still sound like LaScala's!

Maybe Bronson Pinchot would like them for one of the houses he restored. if you want to know what i am referring to, check out the Bronson Pinchot project on the diy network.

I liked his show, he had a unique group of workers there with him. I don't think they're doing the show any more.
