Bought 2 RP-260F speakers, one of them has no holes for base mounting

Hi guys. It seems like I have gotten unlucky (or lucky) with my speaker purchase this weekend. I went to Frys to purchase 2 RP-260F speakers. Upon opening one of the two speakers, I found out that there were no holes drilled for mounting the base. Is it safe to measure the holes from the other speaker and drill small holes in order to mount the base. Please see attached picture. Should I return it?

I think it would okay to put in pilot holes, just match the other speaker. Did the speaker at least come with all the mounting hardware?

Some might say take them back, or call Klipsch, but if you're confident with drilling them, go for it.

PS.....did you get a new helmet?
