Pair Of Excellent McIntosh MC-30 Mono Amps

This is a beautiful pair of legendary vintage McIntosh MC-30 Mono Tube Power Amps in excellent condition. They have been the reliable main power for monitors in a active recording studio for the last 30 years. It pains me to part with them, but I have to close the studio and downsize. They were just inspected, tested, and completely serviced by Skip Simmons, who is a experienced master of vintage tube electronic gear in California who is regularly used by many well-known music industry producers, engineers, and players (http://www.skipsimmonsamps.com).

SPECS:
ELECTRICAL: 30w. Response 20-30kHz (+0.1 -0.1dB). Distortion 0.5%. Noise & hum -90dB. Output impedance 4, 8, 16, and 600 ohms. 600 ohm balanced to ground. 4, 8 and 16 ohms isolated from ground. Damping factor 12 for 4, 8 and 16 ohms. Input impedance 500k. Input sensitivity 0.5V. Late versions supplied with variable damping control.

MECHANICAL:Chrome chassis. Barrier strip for 4, 8 and 16 ohms as well as 0.5V input. Line voltage tap for 117 or 125V. Audio input. Gain control. Size 8″H, 8″W and 13″D. Weight 30.5 lb.
