The R-14pm has smaller drivers than the R-15pm.  The R-51pm is the newer version of the R-15pm.

The R-15PM and R-51PM both use a 5" woofer, while the R-14PM and R-41PM use a 4" woofer. 

 

The R-51PM and R-41PM are newer than the R-15PM and R-41PM. The new models have more powerful amps and a dynamic bass EQ feature that is supposed to scale the low frequencies with the volume to improve love volume listening. Not exactly sure how well the latter feature works and if it's worth the extra money over the older models.

Always review each speakers specs. There are some hints that you could evaluate and compare.

 

Personally, aside from amplifier power, I check frequency range and how louder (sensitivity or spl in Db) can be. A more louder-capable speaker (sensitivity) can be handled by less powerful amplifier, so the speaker reaches high volume levels.

 

Also, wider the frecuency response, better the sounding experience.

 

For example, the older R-15pm (according to the specs sheet) could reach more high frecuencies than others, so you could experience more crisp and clear highs, but less lower frecuencies than others. I think the R-15pm must be paired with a subwoofer in order to compensate lower frecuencies, and then you can acomplish a wider frecuencies ranges when paired. 

 

The others could be better as a standalone speakers (without subwoofer, maybe you are not a bass head) since handle a little bit more low frequencies.

 

More power does not exactly means better or louder speakers. Review the specs. Each one has a specific purpose and not necessarily a newer will be better, just a different approach. Depends on your listening requirements. 

 

Also you could consider sizing, when the 14s could be smaller and matches well for small rooms when you do not need louder speakers. But with a louder (generally more louder speakers) you will have more volume levels headroom, that could means less posibilities of distortion at high volume levels.

 

Summarizing. Depends on your taste of listening and room requirements. wider frequency  ranges generally offers more detailed sound high frequencies and power feelings at low frequencies.  Build your system according to your requirements (sound details, and more or less louder speakers).
