BoomSticks
Thanks for the link but can you tell the manufacturer year is? What their worth is? Can or should the paper speaker be refurbished? They have no issues but do look old.
The History Kid
HD-BR, Heresy Decorator, Raw Birch. They're decorator Heresy I. P denotes that they're 1976 mint. Without knowing if they have had their caps replaced inside, it's hard to know if they need any kind of refurbishing - that's generally what you'd need to refurb on them. Their value depends on the market and location, varying from $450-$650. Condition will play into that as well.
JohnA
If they sound dull, distant, laid back or the sound is not out in the room with you, they need new capacitors in the crossover. Otherwise, they need large doses of Diana Krall and Holly Cole, Marshall Tucker, Zac Brown, Stevie Ray, Robin Trower, Dave Grusin and Metallica! At the proper volume. Cap replacements are easy in a Heresy if you can solder even a little.
