Heaterman
Can anyone tell me if La Scalas built in the late '70's had an option for grill cloth on the top hat? A friend has the pair pictured and it looks to be a DIY add, especially with the finishing nails holes on the trim pieces. Thanks in advance. jimjimbo
Apparently they also didn't know where to properly place the badge.
Heaterman
Should it be below the mid horn?

JohnA
Yes, Grilles were an option, trimmed by 1/4-round from the factory. The grilles resembled the ones you pictured. Mine have the badge at the bottom center of the cloth.

You can just make out their outlines in this flash picture of my full front grills.
