radkrishr
I just picked up a pair of these bookshelves(RP-600M) and have currently wired them to a Denon 4520 along with RP-504C, RS-52 and an SVS PB-12 NSD. I have an Adcom GFA 555se amp that I previously had hooked up to a pair of RF82 II towers through my Denon 4520 preouts. I am inclined to replicate the previous setup replacing my towers(no longer have them) with the bookshelves but a bit concerned if the Adcom is an overkill or perhaps would even damage or blow up the bookshelves considering its 200watts / channel. Has any one tried the Adcoms with bookshelves? It is ok to hook them up?
BlessedPrince
You should be fine. As long as you don’t turn them up all the way. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk 1
K5SS
I used a beefy B&K with 160M’s a while back and think you will be very pleased with the Adcom 600M combo. Like mentioned above, as long as you aren’t trying to fill an auditorium sized room, you should be totally fine. Klipsch speakers are pretty sensitive but that definitely doesn’t mean they don’t like power..
