YK Thom
Another face off between Calgary and Ottawa. Have a feeling this is the Stampeders year.

YK Thom
Just now, oldtimer said: Is this the final? Yes indeed. Sort of the Canadian Super Bowl. Still at half time. 21 Calgary 11 Ottawa.

YK Thom
Damn, I was pulling for Ottawa but Calgary really dominated. Congrats Moray!
teaman
I sure wish the NFL played by CFL rules, the game would be so much more entertaining. Imagine this game being played by the world's best players instead of NFL cuts, rehabs and couldn't cut its. I grew up in Canada and have always watched the Grey Cup, back when Baltimore had a team in the CFL those were exciting times. Short lived, but their style introduced a lot of the American game into the playbooks. Calgary definitely deserved this win, most of the championship games are much closer.
moray james
I think people were entertained with a good game. I thought that it was going to be much closer. They have got to get the dome stadium into the league if they are going to play this late in the season. Have a friend who could have gone to the game but he cannot deal with sitting in the cold that long anymore. Next comes Hockey playoffs!
MC39693
Amazing that it wasn't -45 deg, howling wind and 2 feet of snow! Stamps needed this one after 2 losses in prior years, although I am an original Ottawa Rough Rider (Russ Jackson) fan. Go FLAMES!
moray james
me too I grew up with Russ Jackson in Ottawa, my High School gym teacher was a line backer for the Eastern Rough Riders by the name of Ed Joiner.
