Chorus II Drivers

Updated, see below...

Alright folks...

I have tried Klipsch and a few other places and have come up empty handed.

I am in the need of a pair of Chorus II woofers. Klipsch doesn't stock them anymore, and I can't seem to find a replacement. Anyone got any tips on where I can track down replacements? Surely there has to be something out there.

I went through this same situation last year. Eminence recommend the kappa pro 15lfc as the best replacement. I ended up finding a pair of k48s before i had a chance to try the kappa pros

Great replacement sub for the Mackie SRS 1500
Sounds as good if not better than original sub woofer. Can handle the hard pounding of a Teen Party!!I bought it on 12-2-2014 & Parts Express had it to me by 12-5-2014.Will get another one just for backup if my other Mackie sub goes bad.

Extremely Well Built Subwoofer Driver
When my driver went out on my Powerfield 1500 Definitive Technology subwoofer, the company recommended the lesser model. I spoke to Eminence Technology and opted for the beefer Kappa Pro-15LFC, 4 ohm speaker to max out my Dayton amp. Plainly put, this speak

Call Klipsch again. Tell them that the k48st is the replacement woofer. Make sure you have your serial numbers handy.

klipsch will sell the passive for the forte 3 & its been said they will "work" ok.  they look different & are a different cone material, but if you cant find originals & dont have cores to recone that may be the only option...

Can anyone else here echo this?  If they were mine, I'd have no problems with this, but since they're a friend's I'd like to be sure.

page 2 post by "chief bonehead"  the forte 3 will function ok, but they dont look correct for chorus 2, if that matters.
