I want to screw........

……...down my klf-30 woofers. When the Ciare's go in will like to add more screws to utilize all eight mounting holes. What have you guys used? I figure #8 x 1" sheet metal but have any of you used something else? Living out here in BFE there is only a Lowes without driving a fare distance to a more civilized area.

Don't forget a gasket. Those woofers do not come with one.

That stuff is miserable to work with, it gets wrapped around the screws and makes a complete mess out of things.

 

Buy some speaker gasket tape from Parts Express or similar, you will be much better off and worth every penny.
