Stevenarrow
Hey ya. Got a new pair of Belles for myself. They appear to have HIE crossovers...that’s strange. Any my concerns with running them like this until I can get a proper replacement installed
USNRET
Now THAT is different. Love some Belles!
joshnich
@deang What do you think about these. I am not familiar?
Stevenarrow
Crises says likely not hurting but the woofer to squawker xo point is too high. Missing mid range.
Wolfbane
Congratulations! 🎉 Bought my Belles a few years ago from a fella from Vancouver (none to be found in Calgary). Since then, completely upgraded the drivers from Bob Crites and DeanG XO's. Wb
JohnA
Very easy to change HIEs to AAs. In fact, from memory, you just need to add a cap to raise the squawker cap to 13 uF. And reverse the polarity of the squawker and tweeter.
Mems70
Belle’s are just beautiful, and sounds great, congratulations

avguytx
Steve, I thought you had a pair of the Belle bass bins you built and the K402's? Or am I thinking of someone else.
Frzninvt
The HIE network (designed for the Heresy Industrial Ported (HIP)) is essentially a modified AA. That said it runs all the drivers full tilt. You either need to sell them or modify them to an AA network for best performance. The HIE networks will be an easy sell in the Garage Sale area. avguytx
Seems like after having those bad boy horns, these would be a little lacking. Lol. But, Belle's can definitely sound good plus you don't have to worry about bi-camping and those extra parts.
