Are you using a store bought.. Or did you make the sausage yourself ?

 

locally here we have 3 types of Italian sausage... Hot , med , and sweet...

 

And we have Sicilian sausage.

Which basically a sweet sausage

Made with aged provolone , marsala , and fresh parsley...

 

 

I prefer taking the cutting the sausage . Length wise than spread

It open... And pull the casing off..

 

and drizzle some ovoo on both sides.. And grill it !

I forgot the sausage in oil.

 

Which is hung cured dried sausage..

 

And placed in ball jars with oil...

I haven't gotten to sausage making yet. But when I get the grinder attachment for the Kitchen Aid Pro, look out........
