JohnA
Heresy, even HIPs and Cornwall with K-55-M are exceedingly rare. Less expensive squawker drivers were developed and used in those speakers.
Dave A
My MCM 1900 has 8 of them. So Pro gear used them to.

ricktate
The Belle is #5. I think the change occurred around the 80s. Heresy II doesn't use K55V I dont think. I use to have a history page but it doesn't work anymore. I found this https://2d73e25b29782b6d6766-9c8af5cbfef16739445bc76457060528.ssl.cf2.rackcdn.com/Codex_V3_130823_635128700889860000.pdf Im sure someone will come on here and have the details and dates. Beautiful speaker. As for the Forte or Chorus, too late for them. They went with the same driver family the Heresy and Cornwall went with - Heppner or follow ons types.

twistedcrankcammer
Dave, Both the MCM 1900 3 or 4-way systems could have four K-55m drivers per speaker, as well as the TSCM Pro Klipschorns. I have seven Klipsch TSCMs with four K-55 drivers per speaker, so that is 28 K-55 drivers. Rog
Marvel
The pdf is also pinned at tje top of the Two Channel threads. Part VI. has tbe drivers listed for different models. Just noticed the Cornwall II used a an EV 1828. I got some in some speakers I picked up and had tried them in my LS. They sounded fine, and can be had for not much money. gotoma8
Will the K-55M work for the Chorus 2? Are they "better" than the K-61-Kin the Chorus 2? Thanks
