mopardave
I like the grain pattern klipsch uses on the rosewood Heresy's. Anyone know where they get that veneer? Seems East Indian Rosewood veneer has many different grain patterns. How do I know what I'm buying?

Its not like you get a choice of grain when you special order speakers either. If you are that worried about it the only choice is to go to a local lumberyard and hope they have something in stock to choose from. Mopar Dave, Are you planning on buying brand new Klipsch, or having a used pair veneered?? If you plan on veneering a used set, Oakwood Veneer is right in Michigan and you can go pick out you veneer yourself!

twistedcrankcammer
The 427 SOHC in my avatar displaces about 440 cubes. It uses a 4 & 3/8 inch bore aluminum Shelby block with a slightly destroked billet Winberg crank running a 2.0 inch SBC rod journal with Carrillo light weight steel rods and Billet Diamond pistons. The heads are one of only four sets with a custom CNCd constant taper custom ports that are raised 0.300" on both the intake and exhaust and run a 2.350 intake valve
