Why pay for it if you have it in vinyl?  BUT I see the point of having it ready to go coming in from somewhere...  Well maybe I do...

Um...... I don’t pay for Pandora. I tolerate the few ads and their arbitrary ‘shut-downs’. All in all it is just me being lazy as well as cheap. That said Pandora gives a pretty nice mix...... until they start looping the same stuff. Then I change channels til I sicken of that selection. Have friends who subscribe to Pandora and they tell me that Pandora interrupts their music more than they do mine. We had Pandora mix up tunes around Pink Martini and greatly enjoy those works.

Background music without having to touch it, I wouldn't pay for it but for some reason rarely get adds.

Geeks I tell ya!  Geeks!  You're all a bunch of geeks!  hahahaha  I'm soooooooo clueless...  Yea, I know it works but ALL the kids I know who have it???  They just laff!  My oldest daughter moved pics from my old phone that were 3 years old to my new phone...  Don't ask me how either!  Underlying reason for the move???  Of course there was.  She dropped her newer Galaxy and was desperate so THAT was the deal...  Took her 5 minutes and would have taken me 5 months!  Carry on!  :)      Pathetic can be a good thing!  😂 Tech savvy...  HA!  😎

It's all a matter of perspective.  Is it because there aren't any songs today about the Iraq, Afghanistan, Syrian, (or take your pick of all the clandestine anti-terrorist kill squads around the world) wars?

Back in '65 we had this song which is still relevant:

I have always admired Sloan for writing it and still remember some radio stations banning it...

I didn't either, when I listened to it. It was okay for background music while working. I hated the drift: start with Metallica and the next thing they're playing Malinlow.

There is a short version of this, but I don't have it in print...sorry.

"Dear Mom and Dad,

It has now been three months since I left for college.  I am

sorry for my thoughtlessness in not having written before.  I will

bring you up to date but before you read on you had better sit down.

 Okay?

I am getting along pretty well now.  The skull fracture and

concussion I got when I jumped out of my apartment window when it

caught fire after my arrival here is pretty well healed.  I only spent

two weeks in the hospital and now I can see almost normally and only

get these sick headaches once a day.  Fortunately the fire and my jump

were witnessed by Roger an attendant at the gas station, and he was

the one who called the fire department.  He also visited me in the

hospital, and since I had nowhere to live he was kind enough to invite

me to share his apartment with him.  He is a very fine man, and we are

planning to get married.  We haven't set the date yet, but it will be

before my pregnancy begins to show.  His divorce is final now, and he

shares custody of his 3 children.

The reason for the delay in our marriage is that Roger has a

minor infection which prevents us from passing our premarital blood

tests, and I carelessly caught it from him.  This will soon clear up

with the penicillin injections I am taking daily.

Now that I have brought you up to date I want to tell you that

there was no fire, I did not have a concussion or skull fracture, I was

not in the hospital, I am not pregnant, I am not engaged, I do not have

syphilis, and there is no divorced man in my life.  However, I am

getting a "D" in Art and an "F" in Biology and I wanted you to see

these marks in the proper perspective.

Your loving daughter,"
