jweberjr
I have four CDT5650C speakers in my ceiling (2 front/2back with one center channel). All are Klipsch. The right front speaker delivers a faint test tone while the others sound similar. I have to crank up the db on just the right front speaker to the max in order to provide a similar sound as the rest. I pulled the speaker and brought it to Abt (authorized dealer) for repair. They said everything checked-out fine. Connections are secure. What else could it be? My receiver is a Denon AVR 1909.
CECAA850
Try swapping wires on your receiver with a speaker that works properly to see if maybe you have a bad channel in your receiver.
jweberjr
Thanks Woof. I switched the wires on the back of the receiver and the problem is following the speaker input, so not the speaker. Now I need to figure out if my Denon 1909 can be repaired. Don't really want to drop $600 on a new one.
