Madman1
I’m hoping you guys can help me identify if these are Klipsch k55v or something else like an Atlas. h

Madman1
10/4, thanks!
JohnA
It's an Atlas PD5-VH or a PD4. All of the K-55-Vs I've seen were a lighter grey. There should be evidence of a Klipsch sticker having been on the back, if it is a K-55-V. If it is a PD5-VH you're good. If it is a PD4, it will not perform well in Klipsch speakers. Deang
It's a PD5, but isn't that thing too ugly to use.
Don Richard
That PD5VH looks like it was run over by a truck. Might still be able to clean it up and use it though. Spare?
Madman1
Yes, it’s a spare I picked up. It has had a rough life, 😂. Tests good though. Can’t see it once it’s in the cabinet anyway. No evidence of a sticker.
JohnA
Compare the HF on violins, synthesisers or similar. A PD4 LOOKS like a PD5-VH on the outside but doesn't go as high.
Deang
I think John’s right. That might be a PD4.
Madman1
Well those are definitely similar in the roughness factor but, mine has screws around it where these don’t.
Deang
Nice catch. I didn’t notice that.
Dave A
I have a set of Speakerlab drivers that look just like that. No logos but everything else is the same including the sad appearance.
Madman1
Now I had thought about it being out of a speaker lab. But wasn’t sure what they used for drivers.
