Baltic Birch vs. MDF

Klipsch Pro uses Baltic Birch, as do all other commercial loudspeaker companies, along with molded plastics for various midbass, mid, and treble horns. Meanwhile many "high end" speaker manufacturers use MDF for different reasons. Both have their place in Audio reproduction, but here's a photo showing custom made speakers for an Imax theater, which is WAY more demanding of PERFORMANCE down to 23 Hz. than any Home Theater application or 2 channel. I'll leave it up to you all to argue about this.
