John Chi-town
Powered up my system and all seemed to be functioning properly, until I loaded a CD and tried to play. Everything functions on player but no sound. I have balanced interconnects from player to preamp. When Preamp is set to CD, No sound. Although I am able to get video audio when set to Aux 1. Since I do not have, nor can I find a player to borrow with balanced interconnects, can I run unbalanced RCA from player to Aux 1 and assume if still no sound that the issue lies in the player and not the preamp? Or vice versa? Thanks in advance, John
glens
You've got a video source (cable box?) running thru Aux1 and it works, it sounds like you're saying. By all means if your CD player has RCA outputs, route them to Aux1 for a trial. Process of elimination...
