Not that I'd pay $4,000 for a pair of them or Cornwall III's but, with inflation factored in, they are in line with original pricing pretty much. Tons of smaller studios used the pro version (4310), it was a no brainer for JBL. MY 4311s still sound good. I somewhat meant it as a joke. When I was about 12 years old, early 70's, I built some speakers.
