Looks like after that weather passed us it got worse.

Looks like a large tornado went through Alabama and Georgia, they are saying 10 to 14 dead and 16,500 people without power in Alabama and 26,000 in Georgia without power.

EDIT; it's worse than they thought, 22 now found, with any luck there won't be anymore.

24 now.

I just heard from Jeff, he's ok.  Hopefully Keith was unaffected as well.

Only around 50 here today, and lots more rain...

Low 20s in a couple of days, which will damage a lot of blooms.

That's been the norm in our region for a decade or so. We're getting the same things here, da*n this cold rain is getting old.

I know the equator moved (earth's rotate changed) with the big after Christmas wave, then two big ones in Japan, and a giant one in Chile that decade.

Magnetic fields on the move way faster now....

But I think we're going to tun into a rainforest like the NW states here in the heart of the ACC!

@WMcD, your suggestion of Kelvin reminded me ... saw a documentary once where the Science folks froze things to such a low Kelvin temp ... they discovered a fourth state of matter it was neither liquid nor solid nor gas (for sure not gas at the low temp).  But, I don't find too many appliances with Kelvin range on them, so I'll keep to Celsius or Fahrenheit which I can sometimes navigate.  Calgary looking to get above Zero C next week, Yahooooo!
