grasshopper
Another gentle reminder of how much Nature regards us. I won't say it's nasty here... 100` isnt anything we don't regularly see... Just not in April. Normally happens in mid/late May Gonna be a long fire season this year. The spring weeds/flowers are crispy tinder. Crunches under foot.
Moderators dtel Posted April 27, 2020 Moderators Share Posted April 27, 2020 But it is a desert, it's just a matter of time before it gets crispy. I couldn't handle it, but not as bad as I couldn't handle Minnesota. 76 here 36% humidity which is low and 90% chance of rain Wed, then more of the same. 1

I've been through the desert on a horse with no name, it felt good to be out of the rain.

Since this virus thing, i’ve become a minimalist and i really should work getting back into a routine. Not eating enough, not drinking enough fluids, no exercise. Yeah, i was a hermit during the winter weather -- i can walk in the cold, just not the wet.
Could sound better
I can tolerate being cold, or wet, but not cold and wet!! 2

grasshopper
I maintain that insanity is a coping mechanism. it's warm and SUNNY today. We eclipse warm and it goes to hot tomorrow and Thurs. They call 100`+ "hot" Air is so dry that if you get wet, you can get a chill. which is why I don't swim down here.

MyOwn
84 the birds are chirping, on my drive to work this morning two young deer were grazing on young grass outside a YMCA. Last weekend I got caught up in an argument with a Blue Jay and a Cardinal. I was trying to do my best Cardinal impression "It Sucks" The Blue Jay went off on me... I swear the Blue Jay looked straight at me and flipping screamed profanity my way. 1
