34 mph wind at the house last night but not near the rain they predicted.

Oh yeah you got it first, Carl. I'll check my rain gauge when it stops.

Windy and 60's this morning, but sun is trying to come out and the wind has laid down.

No thanks! I worked with a guy originally from MN and he told me sometimes he would pee on his car's key hole so he could insert the key in to unlock door. (decades ago)

When I retired in March 2011 our Ops manager offered me a part time position at our Detroit refinery. I told him "are you f***in crazy!"

A friend just said they have 80-100 mph winds in the Memphis area. Serious storm.

1.2" of rain after first wave (maybe 40 minutes). The worst (second band) is yet to come.

We've got rain now, turning to freezing rain, sleet, snow later on. I'm in the freezing rain band with an accumulation of up to .87 inch expected. Hoping the power doesn't go out.

Serious rain and lightning right now, a gully washer. Probably 2 or 3" in an hour. Moving east headed to dtel. Its coming buddy!

Surprised the power hasn't gone off yet.

Yep, it's past us now, some bad winds but the really hard rain didn't last long, 1.5" total, no problems. It's just with weather like this you never know when a tornado will pop up and it could be anywhere.

Cooling off already, feels nice but still windy.

Let it rain, snow, sleet or whatever.  Ventured out today and yup looks like it rained since it was standing in yards around town.  Temp of 63 right now.  Eh, NWS had a high winds report til tomorrow morning post to the TV a bit ago.   Home and holed up w/my new Nils Lofgren Live albums which showed up today.  Then a lil Neil Peart & Rush for a wake, which I might add are begnning to suck.  There ya go!  Jimmy Olsen signing out from North Central Ohio.  :)

Here in Provence it is winter, but today it has a mild sun and 12 ° C (54°F). The sky has this wonderful blue that many painters have painted here

This painting was painted in Arles by Vincent Van Gogh 8 miles from my home

Hi Dave !

Now it's night, because it's 11:40 p.m., but the sky is still splendid with lots of stars, it's 6 ° C (43°F)

Looked at the radar 20 minutes ago and the red was going into ATL. Not far and no mountains between there and here, could be stormy in a couple hours.
