No thanks! I worked with a guy originally from MN and he told me sometimes he would pee on his car's key hole so he could insert the key in to unlock door. (decades ago)

When I retired in March 2011 our Ops manager offered me a part time position at our Detroit refinery. I told him "are you f***in crazy!"

} I believe that is referred as “peeing a frozen rope” - 🥶☃️

Serious rain and lightning right now, a gully washer. Probably 2 or 3" in an hour. Moving east headed to dtel. Its coming buddy!

Surprised the power hasn't gone off yet.

Yep, it's past us now, some bad winds but the really hard rain didn't last long, 1.5" total, no problems. It's just with weather like this you never know when a tornado will pop up and it could be anywhere.

Cooling off already, feels nice but still windy.

Let it rain, snow, sleet or whatever.  Ventured out today and yup looks like it rained since it was standing in yards around town.  Temp of 63 right now.  Eh, NWS had a high winds report til tomorrow morning post to the TV a bit ago.   Home and holed up w/my new Nils Lofgren Live albums which showed up today.  Then a lil Neil Peart & Rush for a wake, which I might add are begnning to suck.  There ya go!  Jimmy Olsen signing out from North Central Ohio.  :)

Here in Provence it is winter, but today it has a mild sun and 12 ° C (54°F). The sky has this wonderful blue that many painters have painted here

This painting was painted in Arles by Vincent Van Gogh 8 miles from my home

Hi Dave !

Now it's night, because it's 11:40 p.m., but the sky is still splendid with lots of stars, it's 6 ° C (43°F)

Looked at the radar 20 minutes ago and the red was going into ATL. Not far and no mountains between there and here, could be stormy in a couple hours.

Is your town buzzing for today's game? There was a local TV news story a while back talking to Colts fans that attended the Chiefs/Colts game in KC. They said they had never been treated so well by an opposing city's fans. Pretty cool to hear stories like that. I've always been somewhat of a Chiefs fan, since the early 70s when I was a kid.

They weren't wearing Raiders gear I assume?

Still cold here and a little snow still on the ground from yesterday....arrrrgh.

Thanks dtel. Despite the bad forecast of 12+ inches of snow, we only got about 3-4. However it was blizzard like though, with all the blowing snow.

Everything went off without a hitch and was a beautiful wedding/reception.

Yesterday was weird.

After dark it went up to 70 degrees then windy with the deluge of rain at 10:30.

Lows in the mid fifties highs around 70 the next few days.

High 50's on Saturday, got to play golf in January in NYS. Got into the low 60's yesterday afternoon, went out for a long walk with the Mrs. I am under no delusions however as this patch of nice weather will be gone shortly.

-29 C, low of -35 C tonight.  Ouch.  It's here.  Cold all over Alberta and onwards north.  Gonna read a book and listen to music all day.  A good day to lay out plans for the next audio project too.
