New ProMedia 2.1 Reissues Questions

Got the originals and the pod is toast and I'm sure at some point the DIN female connector  in the sub is going to go so instead of buying a new pod I'm going to go with a new pair.  However, it appears they have no ON and Off switch? Can this be true? Do I rally ahve to get down on my hands and knees and crawl behind my desk to pull the wall plug when I go away for a few days?

Does anybody know that they have actually fixed the pod problems that made these such a frustrating buy. I've replaced the Din cable once, and the pod once already and I've tried soldering repairs  to no good effect.  I truly love the sound  (I bring these with me to summer beach vacations for that very reason) but will these be as problematic?

Also any way to pay with Paypal instead of going through the tedious drawn out purchasing process Klipsch wants me to go through?
