FOR SALE KG2.5

Recommended Posts

I have a very nice pair of light oak KG2.5's for sale in the DFW area.

I relocated to Texas in July and we finally settled into a new home in January.

The new home only has room for one set up and these were in my secondary system so I no longer have a use for these.

They are in excellent shape.

I am asking $250.00 obo.

I am also selling a KV4 center $250.00, a Martin Logan Dynamo 1000 wireless sub $575.00, and a Yamaha RX-A1070 receiver $600.00.

I do have the boxes for the sub and Yamaha but I would rather not ship the speakers.

Sorry for the grainy pictures.

I owned a couple of pair of those that I used with an SW12 II sub that I bought in the early '90's that was musical without the super bottom of todays subs. Using a tube amp every time I listened to the speakers I always thought 'who would need anything else' for listening to music. Sounds like a joke but the 2.5's pack a musical punch for their size. Good luck to you.

I have always loved and have been very impressed with these speakers also.

Very surpising how good they actually are.

Old thread, but thought I'd chime in in 2020....

Am original owner of a pair of KG2.5s that I use as my front mains coupled with some Bose 401 for side/rears and a Klipsch KSW-150. Recently updated the crossovers and installed a set of Crites Titanium tweeters (my process is documented here: Updating the X-Overs and Tweeters :) It was like getting new speakers. Great sound and very full and rich with the KSW-150. I'm in a townhome so this setup is more than enough to fill the space. I'm using an Onkyo TX-NR626 and am very pleased.

Cheers....
