Maximus89
This Forte III arrived damaged. Repairs done myself. Titebond II on motorboard, siliconed inside edges. Major veneer damage at top corners were replaced with walnut veneer cut outs-best I could do. Another one on the left top side. Other veneer damage was just filled with walnut filler as I didn’t want to mess with 2 corners of the edgeband and side or top veneer. Riser has crack in the veneer at the rear but barely noticeable. Doesn’t have the copper jumpers, but wire is better anyway. Sounds perfect. Has paper work and original box. $600 local pickup Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Maximus89
Thanks KalifornianI also have a pair of Chorus II I’m selling. They’ve got ti tweeters and I currently have ti mids in them but have the stock as well. They’re definitely not lookers. But in this Texas market I’m not looking to give them away due to looks as I paid more than I’d be willing to sell them for in worse shape plus ti tweeters($60) and ti mids($175 iirc). So if anyone wants a front stage of Chorus II and Forte III center- here’s your opportunity. Also will list a pair of 76 raw fir KHorns with AAs, round alinco k77s and K55v Separate list- pair of Dean made AAs using Audiocap PPT thetas- mids dialed back -6db I’ll list the chorus II and khorns and Dean AAs when I get a chanceSent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't think I've ever seen so many of one type of speaker damaged in shipping as evidenced by all the ads on the auction site and elsewhere. They need another 2" of foam and/or denser foam on the top and bottom that also comes further down the speaker. Yes I know it costs more to ship, but the rate of damage seems ridiculous. That may still be true but I believe Klipsch packages these to be strapped to and shipped on a pallet. Lots of the damage we hear about is from people trying to send these in the same package through UPS, Fedex etc.
