What year, please?

Well, the colors all over are like my 1968 models (see my profile and click on the background picture at the top), but your mid driver is different.  You also have square magnet tweeters, and the wiring is not factory.  The crossovers are later, too, as @Budman said.

What are the serial numbers?

Don't let the age scare you away.  What's the asking price?

Talked to the seller. He said the serial # is 5K696.

Belonged to his father, who had "new" crossovers installed many years ago.

He hasn't come up with a firm price yet.

Of course he's going to think they're worth more than I do.

What you guy think I should pay?

Thanks much.

So 1973, I think. @wvu80 has a database of prices...

I've got K and 1972, but either 72 or 73 they should be Type AA XO's.  If they have the dreaded Type AK-2's they should be replaced with a set of new or used Type AA's.

If we start with Type AA's in Average/Poor condition the average is $1455.  Those are in pretty rough shape, the veneer looks bad, the grill cloth looks like the cat used them as a scratching post.

If they have the Type AK crossover I'd lower the price another $200, so $1255 would be Fair Market Value, a price fair to both buyer and seller.

@kolledog I sent you a PM with prices but I wrongly valued them as 1969.  This post is a better assessment of the value of the Khorns I saw in post 1 than my PM to you.
