JimmyJ Posted February 27, 2019 Share Posted February 27, 2019 I will be building in the coming months and I am looking for opinions on speaker placement and speakers. I would like to use in wall and in ceiling speakers wired back to amps in the basement. The kitchen and Living room will be a zone. As of now I am pretty set on 2 in ceiling speakers in the kitchen, but am open to opinions on that also. Also as of now the tv will be mounted above the fireplace, possibly with a sound bar under it. This will be used more for listening to music and sports events then it will be for watching movies. My amp will be set up so I can use the speakers in the kitchen to be my surround sound if needed. Liqiudcarney Posted February 28, 2019 Share Posted February 28, 2019 If you using a sound bar for TV then you can place your speakers anywhere you want.
