RP-160M Speaker Stand Recommendations

Find an old version of the 24" that Parts Express sold.  Bottoms of 160s are almost an exact fit, sand fillable, and super sturdy.  Problem is you have to search Craigslist or post in Garage sale.  I know a number of forum members have those.

VTI makes nice stands.

I have the VTI stands, seen here with RP-600M.  These have cable management, are sand fillable and have spikes, although these are sitting flat on a half-inch rubber mat.

For perspective the audio cab is 30", 65" TV.  Mine are 18", too short IMO.  Twenty-six inches would be ideal, right at ear height.

Thanks.  There are a few things we should all have on hand, just in case.  Speaker stands, a mini-amp, and extra speaker wire.  B)

One of these days I'll clean up those speaker wires.  I am always changing something on that front end.  In this case I took out the RF-83's and put the RP-600M's up front.  The 600's really hold their own, even against the larger Klipsch.

At the moment I took out the nice Usher MTM center of the rotation and the RC-64 III is now under the TV.  The RC-64 III and RP-600M really compliment one another in terms of looks and sound, 6.5" woofers on both.
