Advice wanted for my future setup.

Hey everyone.

We are moving into our new place in a few weeks and I wanted to start off my setup in a way that I can grow it in the future (as we won't have enough expendable money to buy everything in one go). I will share the setup I am planning for the long future, and what we will buy day 1 - and I would love your advice on whether it is a solid plan, or weak in some places. We will likely only stick with an incomplete setup for a few months, so it's not the end of the world!

I am new to this, so I want to make sure I am not making any grave mistakes! :D

Complete Setup:

AVR: Denon AVR-X3500H (or 2500H)

Centre Channel: RP-504C

Front Sides: RP-5000F

Rear Sides: RP-500M

Sub: SPL-100 / SPL-120

Our space dictates that we can't have any floor speakers as rear channels, so the plan was to wall mount our rears high up. I don't want to be 'that guy' with our neighbours with the sub, so we might opt for the SPL-100, or no sub at all if it feels like we don't need it.

I wasn't sure if matching sizes was a smart thing to do, or if some channels should be a bigger step up compared to others. Would like your opinions on this!

Day 1 Purchases:

AVR: Denon AVR-X3500H (or 2500H)

Centre Channel: RP-504C

Front Sides: RP-500M (our rears)

We were planning on using our rear channels as our front channels until we wanted to shell out on the rest of the setup.

And that is it! Thank you in advance to those that help out. Anything you can think of, don't be afraid of knocking me down, it is good that I learn stuff before I shell out on the expensive kit.

Thanks :)

EDIT: I saw some other threads where people were asking for room size.

The room is 3 meters wide, and 6.8 meters long (although the rear speakers will be placed within 3.8 meters of the screen.

Here is a layout of the setup
