Gorm
SOLD ---- SOLD Selling my McIntosh MC250 2 channel power amplifier. It is in excellent condition, and has the wonderful warm vintage McIntosh sound. Very "tube" like. It has been powering a pair of Klipsch Chorus IIs in my dedicated listening room. It has had a full restore / complete audio path recap by the famed McIntosh Authorized Terry Dewick. His current backlog for work is over 120 days per his website. This amplifier is fully restored and will be plug and play for many, many years to come. The body is also in awesome condition for a vintage amplifier. I prefer a local sale, but I do have a double padded box that this amplifier can be safely shipped in. The amplifier is still in the listening room and can be demoed at any time. Located in Amana, Zip code 52203. I am looking for 1050 plus shipping. Thank you,

Gorm
Can't believe I can't find a home for this beautiful amplifier.
CECAA850
Bump for a great amp. I'd love to have it but too many irons in the fire at the moment. I believe @jimjimbo brought one to Hope a couple years ago and I really liked it and went as far as actively shopping for one.

Yes, I did bring one to Hope, and I was immediately asked by several folks both there and when I got home if I would sell it......I actually did sell it to a forum member. And then, as usual, I had some serious sellers remorse and ended up finding FOUR more, all in wonderful condition. I then sold two of those, and still have two which are currently being completely restored at Stereo Rehab in Chicago. Make no mistake folks, these are terrific amps, and a bargain at their usual price points.
Drewg
I have an MC250 that I’m currently using on my Klipschorns, and it sounds great! I’d want another one if I had the $$ to buy. Can’t go wrong with this amp. GLWYS OP. @jimjimbo, I’ve used Casper @ Stereo Rehab for restorations on 2 units. He does nice work.
Bundo
I'd love to hook that up to my Korns. Still got it? I can drive out and pick it up this week-end. Oh, and Casper at Stereo Rehab is Batman. Edited June 1, 2019 by Bundo
