jon91661
Hi, This is a strange question but does anyone know why some of the KG-2 speakers come with round tweeters, and some are square? I cannot seem to find any info on this? I am asking because I have a mint pair Im looking at and the tweeter horn is square? Almost all pics I see are round? Although there seems to be pics of both? Weird that they would have used 2 different ones? Thanks, Jon
dtr20
Can you post a picture? I know the very early versions of the kg2 didn't have a passive radiator.

HDBRbuilder
ACTUALLY, the KG-2 was originally called the "Kay Gee Squared"....and was the FIRST of the "KG" series to see production....a few months before I left in 1983!
JRH
The original K-72 was a Heppner-built unit with a square horn (K-72-H). Shortly K&A expanded their in-house driver building to include tweeters and mids, particularly those formerly made at Heppner. The K-72-K was K&A's first tweeter to build, and it debuted with the round plastic horn.
jon91661
I knew I could count on you guys! Great info!! I had heard great feedback on the passive radiator model, but can't seem to find much on the sealed cabinet design? I would imagine it was a bit bass light? Probably 60 65 hz.? Thanks guys, Jon
