N5DUX Posted May 4, 2019 Share Posted May 4, 2019 I got some ProMedia 2.1 speakers a few months ago. I'm wondering if anyone has the pinout for the DB9 connector on the sub. I've seen others post the DIN pinout, but since the connector is now a DB9, I'd like to find the wiring order for it. If nobody has it readily available, how would I go about testing/measuring each pin? (I have a voltmeter to assist in doing that.) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I would think if you cut the wires in half (like I did on my DIN wires) you'd be able to see which colors go to which pin. Since I was replacing my entire thing, that wasn't a terrible thing to do....in fact, had to be done anyway. I don't know about your circumstance.
