Frank merchant
Does anybody know anything about this subwoofer ,does anybody know how much this was brand new , does anybody know how this thing sounds
Ceptorman
It was originally listed at $4000 from Klipsch, but was sold at half price a few years ago when the line was discontinued. The sound is amazing for the compact size it has. It has full onboard electronic adjustments, remote controlled. It has the depth and boom for HT use, and blends extremely well for 2 channel, it really carries a huge punch. Plus it's sexy!
Frank merchant
Do you think it would complement a pair of 1974 heresies in a sprinter van
Frank merchant
How does it compare to the R – 115SW

You should stick to car audio subs using a proper crossover if you wish to do it right.
Frank merchant
Hersheys will blow car audio away in a sprinter van
Frank merchant
There is not a car audio sub on the market that will give me the intensity of the SW – 112 in a van
Frank merchant
As far as the heresys being bolted down, I’m having a custom cabinet built that is bolted into the sprinter, and the heresys will slide in and be secured into the cabinet
Frank merchant
So back to my original question, have you ever heard the two subs both,
Frank merchant
You would need 10 sudwoofets to achieve the intensity of one SW – 112 in a van
Frank merchant
I am taking this to the next level ,something no one is ever done that I am aware of
billybob
A dude from HS had a Fender anp in back of TChevywagon. Did not sound half of bad. Let know results, maybe Mc amp to power Same at 8 ohm...alright?
Frank merchant
Heresies are rated at 50 W per speaker RMS eight ohms, so that means that I would need a 100 W eight ohm house amp, I’m going to take a 200 W 8 ohm car amp which will be 100 W per channel at 4 ohm , The 4 ohm will work half as hard
Frank merchant
1974 heresys one in a van ,nothing will be able to compare with it

Frank merchant
I’m running all linear power,I just bought a 500 W vintage linear power amp and I’m going to run a pair of heresy industrial ported for extremely loud music ( nugent, AC DC ) and then I’m going to run my heresy ones for more calmer music ( earth wind fire , disco)
Frank merchant
I heard extremely good things about linear power, and I really have a Lotta respect for Ray, he really is a good businessman concerning being humble and kind to the customers and having patience with customers
